Andrew Burnham called for a system offering comprehensive guidance and strong backing for students who wish to pursue apprenticeships, similar to one provided to university hopefuls.
Ed Miliband voiced his aim to rid a “fast buck” culture that prevails in Britain and also attempted to restore voters' confidence in his party by trying to break away from the image established by former Labour leaders.
The Shadow Chancellor conceded that Labour -while in power- made mistakes over the economy, while he attempted to muster up confidence on their credibility suggesting a five step proposal to deal with shaky economy.

Admitting that economic recovery for Britain will be a lengthy and testing course, Nick Clegg insisted the coalition, despite conflicting interests, will continue to be unwavering in stamping out the financial crisis instigated by the former government.
The coalition announced plans to launch a public consultation next year with the hope of legislating same-sex marriages before the next general election.
