Tired of scrambling for your phone in that oversized bag of yours? Bless CuteCircuit as their latest innovation solves that issue in a jiffy.

The Little Black Dress takes a whole new meaning. The company recently released images and details of its forthcoming dress – the M-Dress.

What’s the big deal you ask? The dark, richly textured, form-fitting silk jersey dress also doubles as a cell phone.

The company recently released a few images and a few details about its forthcoming M-Dress, a dark, richly textured, form-fitting silk jerseydress that also doubles as a mobile. That’s right; you can make and receive calls with your current mobile number; from your dress!

333"Very often phone calls are missed because mobile phones are quite awkward to carry, especially for women that have garments with small or no pockets. To allow women to stay connected while remaining stylish, CuteCircuit designed the M- Dress. A mobile phone in its own right but built out of soft circuitry," says the message on the website CuteCircuit.com.

It’s pretty straight forward – trust that you won’t be buried under a technical manual to figure this one out - simply slip your any standard SIM card underneath the garment label and you’re all set. The dress has special gesture recognition software that makes picking up a call as simple as raising a hand to your ear. Dropping your hand will end the call, the manufacturer claims.

You will also be able to attach different ringtones to different numbers, so that you can determine who is calling. The only drawback so far is that M-Dress only allows calls to a few fixed numbers. The dress will only be able to call a couple of pre-programmed numbers, CuteCircuit spokesperson Francesca Rosella informed Mashable, pointing out that one of those numbers could be an operator’s. You will also be able to attach different ringtones to different numbers, so that you can determine who is calling.

The antenna, Rosella divulged is “super tiny” and stitched into the bottom hem of the dress, which rests at about knee-height. “We did this,” she explained, “so that antenna radiation is not near the head as with normal phones.”

Just before you even the think of whipping your card out, the garment – which will be available in UK sizes 8 through 14 won’t be out until sometime in and the price is still yet to be declared.

Losing your phone seems like a thing of the past – well, almost!

Wonder if it comes in hot pink?
