Worth the Wait?
The release date for the white model of Apple's iPhone 4 has been pushed, for the second time, this year due to supposed manufacturing issues.
Apple admitted that "White models of Apple's new iPhone 4 have continued to be more challenging to manufacture than we originally expected, and as a result they will not be available until later this year."
This isn't Apple's first glitch with white gadgets - there were the white Macbooks that cracked, manufactured in 2006, which apple offered to repair long after launch in 2009 while in 2008 owners of white 3G iPhones had cracking around the mute switch - so maybe the hold-up is for the best of everyone’s interests, especially for Apple since the delay for the White iPhone 4 places the retailer at a convenient launch date closer to holiday sales time. Coincidence?
This could be just wishful thinking, but possibly the common antenna issue that numerous iPhone black model users have encountered might get a bit of a retooling during the stretched downtime.
However, if impatient is one of your traits and you just can’t wait for the painful delay ofthe White Model and have a wad load of cash to spare; maybe the iphone 4GDiamond Edition
will fill that void.
The white phone, from the Stuart Hughes collection, has its whole surrounding frame encrusted with circa 6.5cts of top quality VVS, colour 'F' diamonds, individually set sparkling gems. The handset is 32GB and its factory unlocked for worldwide use.
The price? It will only set you back a mere £12,999!
Waiting a few months for the white model doesn’t seem so long now, does it?
