Gaga bags eight moon man awards
Lady Gaga dominated the MTV Movie Awards winning eight Moon Men awards, including video of the year for "Bad Romance."
At Sunday night's awards, presented by comedian Chelsea Handler, Gaga who landed a record 13 nominations, won seven of her "moon man" trophies for Bad Romance under categories of Video of the year, Best pop video, Best female video, Best dance music video, Best choreography, Best direction and Best editing, including Best collaboration for ‘Telephone’ featuring Beyonce.
Aside for acclaims for her winning streak, Lady Gaga turned heads with her standout style. Making the best dressed list with her first outfit of the night, Gaga hit the VMA white carpet carpet in a flowing regal Alexander McQueen design, comprised of gold, orange and green with a renaissance-style art print on the front teamed with a long white wig complete with gold-feathered headdress and her famous "Bad Romance" McQueen lobster claw 12 inch heels with a military-themed entourage in tow .Gaga thanked McQueen in her acceptance speech for Best Female Video for his fashion contributions to the video.
During the ceremony she made two more changes; donning another design by the late McQueen, a flowing black number complete with a cone-bra-like structure and a plastic Mohawk headband. The dress was difficult for her to walk in and required help from several burly men to make her way to the stage to accept her Moonman. She told the crowd, "I didn't really quite think all the wins through. This outfit is too heavy to walk in."
